Home

Clinton Public School is a beautiful, freshly renovated school serving 240 students from kindergarten to grade eight, including our Cornerstones classroom. Our staff of committed educators works hard to ensure all students, parents and community members feel welcomed and respected in our building. Learning is a responsibility shared by the school, students, home and community.  We invite you to get involved in Clinton Public School as a volunteer or perhaps a school council member. Being involved in your child’s school is one of the best things you can do for their education.

In terms of professional learning, our school team is always working to improve their teaching. On the social side, we will continue to participate in The Attributes of Good Character Program, because we believe that positive character development is integral to being a well-rounded learner and citizen. We will also be working hard to ensure that every member of our diverse student population feels valued for who they are and realizes their uniqueness is a rich asset to our school and community.

CPS is an integral member of the Central Huron community.  Our facility is open to sports organizations, service groups and community partners so that they can offer a variety of events and activities to all age groups in the Clinton area. The Clinton Cooperative Daycare is a key community partner and operates together with us at the Clinton site. In addition we are fortunate to have Ontario Early Years running free programs for children ages birth to six years four mornings per week.

We look forward to making this year the best year yet for the students and parents at Clinton Public School! Once again, I invite you to come in and visit our school, or better yet, get involved in a great place to learn!
